How you do anything is how you do everything. I think we've all heard that now.
All of a sudden I realized that I have a pattern of going along wonderfully doing things and then end up in anger, usually just mild anger but it's still anger.
My thought has been that I have a lot of suppressed anger to clear, which I have been doing in a variety of ways, and that I would then be fixed, healed, no more anger.
BUT, what if I don't have anger?
What if anger is just a chosen modus operandi?
What if that's all it is?
If that's all it is then there's nothing stopping us from changing our chosen operating mode in a split second.
If it's true, that it is just a chosen operating system, then I will just keep creating more anger incidents which I can then choose to clear or not. I can clear past anger and I will still keep creating more.
The shocking part of this is that as soon as I had this realization, all the anger that I thought I had packed down in me is mysteriously gone. I can't even remember what I was angry about. When I think of things that I think should make me angry, they don't, I just see them as an observer without judgement, like a recorder of events without desiring any particular outcome. It's incredibly freeing.
