These are 3 things that I think we would all like to have and I have been asked to write about them.
I can share my experience in my life so far on each of these. Let’s start with deep knowledge because that was the first one that happened to me in a surprising way. Which in itself is an odd statement because that is how I operated, for the most part, all my life. I just knew things without knowing things. Maybe more clearly, I knew things without having studied them or hearing about them.
The one that really stood out though was about 35 years ago when I knew without doubt and deep inside and without knowing why it should be so. That depth of understanding and knowing was so profound that I have never forgotten it. The event/happening and people continue to this day and I still have that knowing that it is all right even though I still only know some of the reasons why it would be so.
Since that event of profound knowingness, there have been many more. Some have been equally profound and meaningful on a long term and others have been profound and meaningful short term events, happenings, or simply knowings.
They all have the characteristic of coming from a place deep within, some might say beyond me, from somewhere greater than my ordinary, everyday, admittedly geekish brain. They all have the feeling that the Universe moved heaven and earth to make the “happening” and then let me know it without seeing the need for me to know any details! But then, sometimes details get in the way of greater things. Sometimes knowing too much limits the possibilities.
Whatever the reasons, the things that come from these knowingness events have been the most amazing things in my life. So I am very grateful for them and, of course, want more of them. Now I do have ways to access this knowingness. A couple of them I share in my Life Course which you can read about here if you are interested. Living from this place of knowingness is one of the things I guide my Private Clients to as well.
Health, deep health, is something we all want for ourselves and for everyone else. I know there are people out there who can heal others just by touching them. I know there are healings by prayer. I have been witness to incredible healing by herbs and supplements. I have read countless stories of amazing healing by many different methods. What I don’t understand is why they don’t all seem to work for everybody.
When I am in a situation where someone is in pain and needs healing, the center of my palms become hot and it feels like something is emanating from them. People have told me they feel something when I direct it at them and they feel better.
I know from my own health issues that it doesn’t seem to matter what I do to try to heal them or make them go away, the only thing that has made one iota of difference if when I suddenly know the core cause of the symptom. Back to that knowingness above. I will suddenly know the cause and I will have an understanding about it, and it is never what I would ever have thought of. And just as suddenly, in that same instance of understanding, the symptom/condition is gone.
This all happens on a timeline that I seem to have no control over no matter how much I want to be without the symptom/condition. This brings up some very interesting questions. Who/what is running my show? Is it my show? Does Source/God/Divine really need my (ego) help to get things done, or to even explain what my desired outcome is? Sounds a bit silly when you put it that way doesn’t it? Does God really need me to outline the plan and outcome or am I just supposed to show up, do the plan, stop bitching, and enjoy the journey? Much to think about.
That brings us to wealth. How do you define wealth? There are what, 7, 8 Billion people on the planet? If we use our current definition of wealth as being money and material goods, can the planet even provide that to everyone? Do we even want that? What do we think having all that would get us? Who is determining what is good and desirable to have? How much of what you want is cultural conditioning? Exactly what is it that you really want?
As far as I can determine, what we call wealth at this time in human history is completely superficial. If it is superficial then how can it be wealth? All those things that we say we want can (and have been throughout history) taken away in an instant. And then what?
Is real wealth the ability to survive no matter what? Is real wealth the deep knowingness that you are more than anything on Earth, more than any body? Is real wealth experiencing that you are Source? Part of the journey of the seeker is the repeated experiencing of Source/Divine/Oneness. Part of the journey of the seeker is wanting to live in that state. We know it is possible to live in that state and be human here on Earth. We have many examples of those who have and are doing it.
To me, that’s real wealth, because all else emanates from there. Real, deep wealth is Source.
