Your business model is a diagram of how people come to you and how they move through your business. It includes your general marketing strategy or what's called a funnel. A simple model might be doing Facebook posts to attract people into a Facebook Group. Then providing useful content to the group members. The next step would be offering an entry level program or product to the group members for purchase. From there you might offer them a logical next step program or service to take them further in their learning or growth. It might then make sense to offer a live experience.
With each step in the model you might then elaborate on email sequences, who is in charge of what, calendering dates for each process, etc. so that you see the flow of what has to happen over the course of several months or a year.
Making your business model based on you, your style of working, your skills and talents, is just good sense. Give equal attention to what people actually want from you. You may have an elaborate, beautiful system created in your head and it might not be grounded in what people want, or it might be a step to far ahead of where people need to start with you.
Your clients are who make you valuable as a business person, entrepreneur, coach, so make sure you are providing the value that they want and that they will need.
